The first activity in the Recycling collective was the joint resident exhibition FællesSkabet, which was inaugurated for Bylivsfestival on 8 October 2022. All objects, stories and models have been selected by residents of Taastrupgaard and collected by the National Museum. FællesSkabet was created on the basis of three workshops held in connection with social events at three different locations in Taastrupgaard; to a local flea market at Taastrupgaard's resident's house, to the local farm festival and in connection with the construction of the Recycling Collective.

The workshops consisted of the prototype of an exhibition, a kit box with ideas from the residents and the opportunity to build a model of one's memory using modeling wax and recycled materials. For the prototype exhibition, the National Museum borrowed objects from local resident Palle Jakobsen, who has a large collection of recycled finds. The exhibition was an example of the stories and memories that objects can contain and at the same time a story of a strong community at Genbrugsgaarden in Taastrupgaard, where Palle Jakobsen works as a volunteer.

The result of the modeled memories and submitted objects with stories about dreams, relationships and experiences of living in Taastrupgaard was shown at the residents' exhibition FællesSkabet. The exhibition shows that recycling can be much more than recycling old things and physical objects. With FællesSkabet, the residents of Taastrupgaard have shown that you can also recycle ideas, experiences, memories, friendships and other intangible relationships. Hopefully, some of the stories from the exhibition can inspire new initiatives in Taastrupgaard and other places where recycling holds value for the people who live in the area.
